This site is a tribute to my Dad, Peter Devonport.

After a long battle with his health, dad passed away on the 9th August 2023, surrounded by his family, at the Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice. 

Dad spent his final two weeks in Wheatfields, where he was looked after with the utmost care and compassion.  The whole team, from doctors and nurses, to catering and cleaning, every one of them was amazing and we can't thank them enough.

The care at Wheatfields is free, but it costs £3.8m per year to provide it, which equates to £10,500 per day which comes from donations. 

So in memory of Dad we are kindly asking for donations to Sue Ryder, as a thank you for all they did for him in his final days.
